New Foyer Construction as Part of the Castle Renovation

Visitors to Arnstadt Castle Museum embark on a journey back to the Baroque era in the reconstructed rooms of the new palace. Through architecture, fashion, art, and music, they experience life in a royal residence as it was known to the renowned composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

As part of the castle museum’s renovation, the foyer was redesigned. Körling Interior was responsible for the furniture construction for the reception area, including the construction of the platform and the ticket counter with a mineral composite worktop – both heated by underfloor heating – as well as lockers with coin-operated locks.

Körling Interior also supplied the metal coat rack, a display unit with drawers and illuminated glass-fronted display cases, and other fixtures, shelving, and paneling. All work was adapted to the existing structural conditions of the original building.
