Schloss Allstedt – Thomas Müntzer Exhibition, Allstedt

Schloss Allstedt is one of the most significant historic sites in Central Germany and has been politically shaped over centuries. In 2025, selected areas of the complex were reopened to visitors as part of the Thomas Müntzer and Peasants’ War commemoration. With the opening of the exhibition “BEING and APPEARANCE. Thomas Müntzer”, parts of the castle’s inner complex became accessible to the public again after three years of closure.

An audiovisual installation was created in the historic court chamber, vividly presenting the life and work of Thomas Müntzer. Additional spaces, such as the castle kitchen, were also opened, offering further insights into the history of the site.

Körling Interiors was responsible for the exhibition construction within the historic building.
