Emergency Reception Camp Gießen
The former site of the emergency reception camp on Meisenbornweg in Gießen is one of the key historical locations of German post-war history. From 1945 to 1989/90, it served as the primary point of arrival for people from the Soviet Occupation Zone (SBZ) and later the GDR, standing as a powerful symbol of stories of escape, displacement and new beginnings.
Körling Interiors was responsible for the structural implementation of the exhibition, producing showcases, wall elements, tables, outdoor steles, media stations, counter installations and graphic elements across an area of approximately 600 m².
